Abstract
The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between talent management and organizational support with human resource succession in the education departments of Kohgiluyeh city. The study was applied in nature and descriptive correlational research in terms of data collection method. The statistical population of the study included all employees working in the education departments of Kohgiluyeh city, 160 in number. The sample size was 113 people based on the Cochran formula with an error of 5%. Data were collected using the talent management questionnaires of Ahmadi et al. (2012), the standard succession questionnaire of Kim (2006), and the organizational support questionnaire of Eisenberg et al. (1986). The validity of the questionnaire was confirmed by face validity and reliability by Cronbach's alpha. The data were analyzed using the Pearson correlation coefficient test and linear regression. The results showed that the Pearson correlation coefficient between talent management and organizational support with human resource succession was 0.32, talent management and human resource succession was 0.29, and organizational support with human resource succession was 0.34, and the research hypotheses were confirmed.
