Human resources are considered one of the most important strategic assets in large and infrastructure industries, and the quality of its management plays a decisive role in the productivity, sustainability, and competitiveness of organizations. The Iranian steel industry, as one of the mother industries and influential in the country's economic development, faces numerous challenges and damages in the field of human resources due to the hard nature of work, special environmental conditions, the need for specialized personnel, and the pressures resulting from economic developments. Therefore, the present study was conducted with the aim of identifying and explaining the challenges and damages of human resources in the Iranian steel industry.
